Virendar Sehwag Profile



     Virender Sehwag the shining star of  Indian team for more than a decade. He has born on the 20th October of 1978 in Delhi. The pet name of Virender Sehwag is Viru and Nawab of Najafgarh. He has completed his schools at Arora Vidya School in Delhi. Sehwag has got married with Aarti Ahlawat in the year 2004 of April, which the function held under the serious defense cover in a widely publicized wedding hosted by Arun Jaitley, the next Union law minister of India, at his dwelling. He has one son name Aryavir has born on on 18 October 2007.

     Sehwag commenced his first occupation when he started playing for Delhi team in the year 1998. Prima face, he has elected to play for North zone in Duleep trophy, which was the turning point in his life history for the reason that he was then elected for a tour to South Africa with fewer than 19 players. His initial century has held while facing the team New Zealand and it is a very essential component for Virender Sehwag profile.

He has performed one fabulous record against the team South Africa that is he has secured the highest score in the test matches held at Chennai on March of 2008. He also took another miracle done by him, whom he scored 319 runs off just 278 balls in the match. 

     Sehwag is one among the three batsmen in the globe who have achieved Triple Centuries for two times in Test Cricket, and also obtained the highest one day series century by an Indian Cricketer, which held at March 2009 off just 60 balls in an one day match against the team New Zealand on 11th of March 2009 at Hamilton.

     Viru has won many precious awards in this life span still now. He has won the valuable Arjuna Award in the year 2002. He is the winner of the “Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World” reward in the consequent years 2008 and 2009.  He has named under the list “Best ICC Test Player” in the year of 2010. And also he has won the historic award Padma Shree in 2010.

The overall best performances recorded by the great opening player are as follows:

  • The  individual to score high in history in an ODI match 219 against West Indies on 8 December 2011 at Indore.
  • Top 250 in Test cricket in terms of balls faced (207).
  • Top 300 in Test cricket in terms of balls faced (278).
  • Highest runs scored in Test match in a single day by an Indian
  • scored two triple centuries in Test cricket
  • Fastest century against New Zealand in 2009
  • Second fastest fifty runs in one day international against Kenya in 2001
  • Six double centuries, where three of them are against Pakistan
  • Fastest triple century against South Africa  in 2008
  • Consecutive one fifty runs in Test cricket at 2011
  • He is the initial personality in the history of test cricket to knock two triple centuries and also achieved to take five wickets in a Test innings.
